About Kyle
I’m Kyle (middle name Ann). I have a passion for wine, viticulture, storytelling, and curating thoughtful experiences. My approach to wine is grounded, approachable, and intentionally unpretentious. Most of all, this is supposed to be fun. I believe wine should feel inviting, personal, and woven naturally into the moments we gather to enjoy it.
My approach
Wine doesn’t need to be intimidating to be meaningful. I focus on thoughtful selection, honest recommendations, and creating experiences that feel effortless — whether that’s guiding a tasting in your home or helping you discover bottles you’ll genuinely look forward to opening.
I value curiosity over credentials and connection over complexity. The best wine experiences are the ones that feel comfortable, memorable, and true to you.
Experience and Perspective
My perspective on wine is shaped as much by experience as by study. I’ve worked at a small vineyard, gaining hands-on insight into the rhythm of winemaking and the care that goes into each bottle.
I’ve also worked closely with clients in wine-focused roles, developing an understanding of how people choose, enjoy, and return to the wines they love. This experience informs my ability to recommend bottles that feel thoughtful, accessible, and genuinely enjoyable.
Time spent studying abroad in Siena, Italy further deepened my appreciation for wine as part of everyday life, rooted in gathering, shared meals, and connection.
I hold the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and am currently pursuing the Introductory Sommelier Certificate, bringing together practical experience, formal education, and a service-driven approach to wine.
